Mid-century armchair designed by Ejnar Larsen & Aksel Bender Madsen for Willy Beck

Available and in very good condition

Large mid-century armchair in solid rosewood and black leather upholstery, produced by Willy Beck in Copenhagen in the 1950s. This chair is designed in 1949 by Ejnar Larsen & Aksel Bender Madsen where it was also shown that same year at the cabinetmakers guild exhibition in Copenhagen. A characteristic design where the leather upholstery is wrapped around the upper part of the legs up to the armrests. The design of the seat shows some slight curves complementing the angle of the armrests.
